The Journey Continues . . .

Since my last blog I have worked for Western Seminary for the month of December. Last week I traveled to Portland to spend some time on the campus meeting staff, faculty and contacting donors. My activities and travels will take me in the state of Oregon and Washington and primarily in the western part of both states. It is difficult to keep in touch with many of our supporters on a personal basis since many of them live on the west side of Oregon and Washington. That is the reason we need to move to that area.

Western Seminary has a long history when it opened its doors in 1927 in Portland, Oregon as the first graduate theological school of its kind on the west coast. The seminary exists to glorify God by exalting His Son, Jesus Christ, in prayerful dependence upon the Holy Spirit and Word of God. The mission and vision is a catalyst and resource for spiritual transformation by providing, with and for the church, advanced training for strategic ministry roles.

We still need to sell our house and since the market is so dead I will continue working from our home and travel to the west side of the two states.

My nephew Steve in Southern California and I keep in contact through of all places “Face book”. He shares scripture with me and let’s me know what he is doing. He has a strong walk with God. Last week he shared with me the following scripture: Psalm 143:8. “Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”

Please keep praying that God will help me know the way I should go.
