When I was a young boy age 8 my mother took me to church to attend VBS. I had always attended Sunday school and church every Sunday but never really made a commitment to Jesus Christ. During the first service at VBS my pastor, William Orr invited us to come forward to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. As a small boy I went forward to accept Jesus as my Savior. My wife Ruth always said that I was born a Christian, but we know that is not possible. I was a sinner from birth and needed a Savior.
When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and believed that He died for me and I confessed my sins He washed my sins away and continues to forgive me for my sins past, present and future. I have walked with Jesus Christ for over 65 years.
This is my story. "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine", O, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood". I am praising my Savior all the daylong.
If you read my blog and don’t have the blessed assurance that Jesus Christ is your Savior than this is a good time for you accept Him, believe that He died for your sins and Confess your sins you can be saved.
